So many presentations run over their allocated time. It’s so
unnecessary.
And so boring.
Usually the most valuable part is after the formal bit has
finished and the conversation can begin.
So my policy is this: take the allocated time and divide it
in two. Create a presentation that uses 50% of the time for presenting,
protecting the remaining 50% for questions, thoughts arising, exploration of
the theme.
